Canvasback Tasting Room
Tastings at the Winery
Just 15 minutes southwest of downtown Walla Walla, the Canvasback tasting room is designed to embody the rustic elegance and frontier spirit of the region. We offer an idyllic setting for both indoor and outdoor seated tastings, with extensive natural wood, glass and other luxurious features - all anchored by exceptional hospitality. The lovely outdoor seating area is the perfect place to enjoy an alfresco wine tasting ! We also have lawn games (seasonally) and a fire pit that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages (weather permitting).
In addition to certified service animals, we welcome well-behaved dogs on-leash for outdoor tastings, with prior appointment.

Canvasback Classic Tasting - $25/person
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our delightful and knowledgeable team members and taken through a flight of five incredible Washington State wines. With our airy interiors and outdoor settings, we provide social distancing quite naturally!
To go along with your tasting, we’ve added a selection of delectable cheese and charcuterie plates, as well as small bites for purchase while booking your appointment.

Elevated Tasting Experiences - By Appointment Only
Diving deeper into our portfolio, we offer the following elevated tasting experiences for a limited time. Featuring educational and curated pairings with our limited-production wines, these exceptional experiences were developed to create a unique and intimate setting, advance reservations are required.

The Red Mountain Experience - $40/person
This Elevated Experience at Canvasback is designed to focus on what we do best! WE ARE a Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon house first and foremost. The flight will change and evolve over time, but will always be focused on comparing different vintage years within the Red Mountain AVA. You and your guests will be guided through a flight of five wines as you explore our renowned Washington wine region.

- 2019 Canvasback Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon Longwinds Vineyard

Rosé Revisited: A vertical journey through Canvasback Rose
Join us as we embark on a vertical tasting journey of our Walla Walla Valley Rosé of Syrah. During this tasting, you and your guests will taste a flight of four vintages ranging from 2019 to 2022, paired with a locally sourced cheese plate. As you savor these elegant and beautiful wines, you'll taste the distinct flavors of each vintage.
